On behalf of the Children's Commissioner for England to undertake an investigation to explore how young people experience being admitted to a mental health setting informally and, how, if at all, this differs for those being detained under the MHA. Ideas explored included freedom to leave, the experience of parental consent and understanding of rights.

Recruitment of stroke patients into clinical trials and coordinating trials at the local site. Most of these trials/studies assessing pharmaceutical or rehabilitative interventions. Responsibilities include; managing caseloads, screening/recruiting of patients into clinical trials in accordance with agreed protocols and ICH-GCP research governance, undertaking clinical assessments, completing follow-up assessments and inputting data, reporting adverse events and data queries, disseminating education and support, liaise with R&D and ethics in the setting up, maintaining and close down of clinical trials including relevant documentation (such as site-specific information submission), provide ongoing audit reports and working in a team.

Working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary team in order to provide support to the Clinical Psychologist. This involved attending regular clinical meetings, to work towards patient centred care, conduct psychological assessment and intervention including psycho-educational sessions. To ensure that the interventions were in line with the current evidence base. During this role I successfully co-developed and co-facilitated a series of well-being workshops and successfully applied for the service involvement in a National Inclusion study.

Low intensity therapist working at step 2 in a stepped-care model. Using guided self-help based on cognitive behavioural therapy techniques for mild to moderate levels of depression and/or anxiety. Responsible for managing a large caseload and writing medical note entries following individual sessions. I co-facilitated a series of group workshops primarily about managing stress and anxiety. I was responsible for the development and maintenance of a shared resource for therapists.
