My broad research goal is to undertake research problems in Systems biology/In silico Structural Bioinformatics / Neuropharmacology/ Neuroinformatics associated research & Education with prominence on, protein structure, function, evolution, protein network interactions and protein malfunction disease relationships to understand the molecular basis of human diseases and to identify good drug-targets in the pathogenesis. Structure-based study of the properties of the binding pockets, their interaction through 3D structures, as this, provides crucial atomic details about binding and clues to investigate their potentials as drug targets. I use my computational background and software skills to answer research questions from various disciplines including neuroscience and biology. My key research continues to investigate approaches to discover & understand the molecular mechanisms that give rise to disease, particularly interested in Alzheimer’s disease, Type 2Diabetes, Cancer,Proteomics of Human body fluids and other Neurodegenerative disorders.
