My professional journey revolves around education sector. I retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a reputed name in schools, as Joint Commissioner in May, 2023. But let's rewind to the beginning.As a fresh out of university, armed with a degree in Physics my first stop was a senior secondary school in Madhya Pradesh, where I spent over a decade teaching young minds about the wonders of physics.Later I shifted gears and began training future teachers at an institute (DIETs). During this time, I didn't just teach; I continued my own education, earning degrees in teaching (B. Ed. and M. Ed.) as a sponsored with the support of Department of Education. I developed various training module and curricular material for Pre service courses. That's when I crafted a special language inventory that put their local dialect first, ensuring local students could learn comfortably.I delved deep into tribal education, undertaking a doctoral thesis that explored every facet of it. I obtained my doctoral degree from Bhopal University. Due my association with writing work and development of various course material , I also dabbled in journalism and communication, broadening my horizons even further. I got BJMC diploma from Central University Bilaspur.Further through a nationwide competition, I secured a position at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a central government body overseeing schools across the country. For 25 years, I toiled tirelessly, climbing the ladder from Assistant Commissioner to senior executive as Joint Commissioner, each step bringing me closer to my vision of better education.Collaborating with apex education bodies like CBSE and NCERT, I spearheaded initiatives to improve the learning experience. One such initiative was a child-centric learning program, designed to make education more engaging and effective.Post retirement, I continue to support Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, in framing the new Education Code incorporating NEP 2020 and provisions of social media and cyber security.I've also ventured into the world of online content creation, using my expertise to help educational websites and social media platforms thrive. Through consultancy, I share my knowledge and experience, guiding schools and organizations towards educational excellence.Currently, I offer consultancy services to various educational institutions and organizations, providing support for program evaluation and effective educational strategies.
