I began my career at General Electric in 1976, where I worked for Fred Garry, Corporate SVP, under the direct leadership of Jack Welch from 1982 to 1989. During this time, I led Strategy, Innovation, and Productivity programs that contributed to GE’s market value increase from $30B to $300B. I also helped revolutionize how GE approached innovation, growth, and productivity by implementing game-changing strategies in all businesses.In 1989, I founded the Institute of Global Competitiveness, a Management Think Tank and client-driven practice focused on delivering greater than 10X stretch goals for Global 500 companies, mid-size firms, and start-ups. My unique and proprietary “Outthink and Outdo” Management System has been instrumental in generating over $200B in wealth for our clients across a wide range of sectors greatly surpassing the performance of ALL major consulting firms like McKinsey, Bain, and BCG and thought leaders. Clients include Global 500 and mid-size companies such as GE, Microsoft, Nvidia, JP Morgan, Siemens, Cisco, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Thermo Fisher, Symantec, Danaher, and many others. I have worked with top CEOs and category leaders to deliver a continuous flow of game-changing ideas that drive 10X business growth.In 2023, I established the Global Leadership Institute to develop the next generation of global leaders in the US and India. Through initiatives like the “Reinvent India for Global Leadership” blueprint, we are dedicated to driving India’s GDP from $4 trillion to $20 trillion. I’ve served on U.S. and Global Competitiveness task forces under Presidents Reagan and Clinton, and I have taught executive programs at renowned institutions such as GE’s Crotonville Management Institute, MIT, Harvard, Stern, Kenan-Flagler, IIMs, INSEAD, and various Global 1000 companies.
