I complted my PhD in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, INDIA in 2015. My thesis entitled “Self assemblies, ion recognitions by some cyclic imides and related first row transition metal complexes” deals with synthesis, characterization, structural aspects of solvates, salts and metal complexes of cyclic imides, properties and applications. My PhD project dealt with designing of new materials and studying their structural features along with studying chemical and physical properties.I did a postdoctoral research on photocatalytic polyoxotitanium clusters and cluster extended MOFs at University of Science and Technology of China for a period of six months from Dec, 2015 to June, 2016.After that I got selected for international fellowship called CAS PIFI postdoctoral fellow and worked at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, CAS, China from Dec, 2016 to Dec, 2018.I served as a guest assistant Professor at Department of Chemical sciences and school of engineering Tezpur University for a period of 1 and half year.Presenly, I have been working as an assistant Professor in the department of Chemistry, S. B. Deorah College, Guwahati, Assam.
