Jennifer Saylor, PhD, APRN, ACNS-BC is a tenure Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Faculty and Student Affairs who is focused on increasing diversity in the nursing workforce and developing nurse leaders. My clinical program of research is in type 1 diabetes management during the transition to college, relationships, and the workplace. I have educational expertise from undergraduate to doctoral education using various modalities including clinical, simulation, online, flipped classroom, and service learning. I have worked with a great team of colleagues and students to publish in the areas of leadership, healthy workplace, type 1 diabetes, simulation, and service learning. I have presented on these topics regionally, nationally, and internationally. I most enjoy mentoring faculty and coaching students, clinicians, and faculty on disseminating their scholarly work and developing a work-life balance.
