Nowadays I am creating a new Underwater Robotics Laboratory for the Abu Dhabi Campus of New York University, and developing Intevention Autonomous Underwater Vehicles for novel applications.

I am performing regular strategic and technical advice services to the Start-up, which is developing novel Underwater Robotics.

As a Senior Engineer with an Academic background and expertise in Underwater Robotics joining a new team for Marine Robotics, I performed several tasks. - We created and organized a mechanical team to give support to our Marine Robotics developments and operations.- We designed and prepared a Laboratory and Workshop for the development of novel Underwater Robotic platforms, with a focus on additive manufacturing.- We conceptualized and designed a set of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, Unmanned Surface Vehicles, and complementary technologies for them, for multiple applications.- We prepared and performed Proof of Concepts for different clients to showcase the technologies developed.- We established collaborations between different actors both in the industry and the academia.

In parallel to my Ph.D. student position, I was acting as head of the Mechanical Engineering department of the Research Center.As a Ph.D. student, I led the Long-Term Deployment research line, from which two Underwater Docking Station prototypes were developed. I lead a team of four people composed of interns and engineers. I also lead sea campaigns related to my research line.As the acting head of the Mechanical Engineering department, I was in charge of designing and supplying the different mechanical needs for the center's research projects, including the design and adaptation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and related technologies to perform Proof of Concepts.

Parallel to my positions in Spain, I was acting as a Freelancer offering industrial advice and services to several companies in Spain. The services included mechanical design and manufacturing management, industrial electronic design, and industrial software development.

As a Project Engineer for industrial automatization, I performed tasks of mechanical design, manufacturing management, perception implementation, electronic design, and software development. It is worth mentioning that the core technology of the applications where the industrial robot with a stereo perception system applied in non-deterministic industrial scenarios.Also, I led projects from their conception to their delivery and managed them. Working in coordination with the company´s team, and hiring and managing teams in the locations of the clients.
