Collaborate with study personnel in the strategic planning of future external funding grants.Integrate information from multiple sources to ensure that research proposals meet thenecessary requirements of funding agencies.Develop research protocols that clearly describe research objectives and proceduresnecessary to test the hypotheses of the research project.Develop research designs, data collection methods and strategies for data management.Design, create and revise research instruments as necessary to ensure quality data thatcorrelates with research objectives.Coordinate multiple data collection efforts for one or more research projects which mayinclude other collaborating agencies or institutions.Consult with co-investigators on appropriate management of participant problems andconcerns.Develop and manage interim reports for principal investigators, industry sponsors andinstitutional review board to ensure that each project is moving toward timely completion.Liaison between the project team and funding agencies or significant parties.Ensure that projects are executed successfully and completed within time frames to meetresearch objectives.Write and edit technical reports and manuscripts for publication or presentation.Assist in the recruitment, training and supervision of research staff and students.

Hunger, malnutrition and poverty are intrinsically linked and must be solved together. It is therefore important to draw up strategies to support communities and build financial autonomy and resilience into vulnerable populations across Africa, if the Agenda 2030 is to be achieved. IFaNSA has designed interventions to ensure that resilience is built into vulnerable populations through its one community at a time programmes focused on engagement of leaders in the targeted communities for sustainable utilization of available resources to establish community owned farms and generate wealth that will be distributed in an equitable manner and ensure that levels of livelihoods are improved in order to achieve the ultimate aim of eradicating poverty, hunger and malnutrition.
