Develops job and volunteer opportunities for vocational and day programs serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. Cultivates strong relationships with community partners, employers, and agencies to secure competitive jobs within the community, researches and recommends employers and activities, and identifies career and vocational opportunities aligned with individual needs. Provides job preparation and adjustment support including building interviewing skills, work and interpersonal skills, and models effective work behaviors to help those served secure and maintain employment. Contributes to individual service plans, completes documentation reviews, and collaborates with planning team and other stakeholders to ensure program success.

Develops curriculum and facilitates instruction in both laboratory and classroom settings for students of the Dental Assisting Program. Evaluates student performance, mentors students to optimize subject matter aptitude, and collaborates with faculty and Administration to ensure achievement of program objectives. Served as technical advisor for an international dental laboratory. Evaluated dental cases, made product recommendations to dentists, and assisted in problem solving, planning, and development of customer goals. Managed relationships with Dental Technicians, prepared reports for senior leadership, and coordinated communication and activities with cross-functional departments in support of business objectives. Cultivated strong relationships with dental professionals and customers to drive retention efforts, trained staff, and demonstrated in-depth product knowledge.

Ensured the achievement of educational goals and objectives for the college’s Dental Assisting Program. Ensured compliance with state and national Department of Education standards, maintained accreditation, and provided leadership in both academics and workforce development. Collaborated with cross-functional staff in support of student recruitment and retention goals, evaluated program and student performance, and managed program budget. Organized, planned, administered, and developed the program, developed and enhanced curriculum to optimize student outcomes, and hired, trained, and mentored faculty.
