A seasoned school administrator and music director with almost two decades of leadership, program development, and team collaboration experience in the educational sector. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for leading diverse teams, as well as for driving student success, I have a verifiable history of contributing directly to organizational growth and expansion. My professional focal points include: education administration, policy development, student counseling, issues and conflict resolution, staff training and development, event planning, and performance metrics. Delivering superior administration on the latter areas of expertise requires utilization of effective communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as teaching acumen, project management, and talent acquisition expertise to support efficiency and maximum returns. I have served as the interim Vice Principal at the School of International Studies at San Diego High School and Dean of Students. Under my leadership, I oversee all administrative functions for 1,200 students including 50 students in the ASB Leadership Program. I am also accountable for redesigning the music program and adding several classes such as Instrumental Strings, AP Music Theory, and IB Music classes. Additionally, I liaise with district administrators, superintendents, teaching staff, and support staff to ensure smooth running of the school by coordinating a variety of interests, programs, timelines, facility usage, agendas, and budgetary concerns.
