Given a steadfast commitment to healthcare excellence and through my role as a Board Director at FireRein, I endeavor to push the boundaries of innovation in healthcare, firefighter safety and environmental protection.My medical expertise, honed over decades of service as a Family Practice Anesthetist in the OR, the ER, obstetrical ward and family medicine clinics, is enhanced by my pursuit of diverse education in healthcare leadership and environmental sustainability. Marrying these disciplines has lead to my vision of improved quality health in Ontario and Canada.🇨🇦 Within the FLAOHT, I am working to intersect clinical skill and leadership, to shape an environment where physicians are empowered to deliver outstanding care and to influence policy makers and industry to make future focused choices.Advocating for systemic change also reflects my dedication to enhancing the patient experience across our great nation. It has become clear to me that the health and wellness of healthcare providers IS the primary predictor of quality care. To this end, I dedicate the majority of my energy to reestablishing a healthcare milieu which fosters healthcare provider wellbeing.
