I have sustained an artistic practice for many years. This has involved creating and exhibiting artwork in New Zealand, Germany, Slovakia, and Poland. My work is represented by Scott Lawrie Gallery in Auckland, New Zealand, and is held in a number of public and private art collections.

I bring sharp editorial nous and literary flair to my freelance work. I have written, researched and edited a vast range of feature articles, research essays, and short form texts for print magazines, websites, books and gallery publications over many years.

Gow Langsford Gallery is New Zealand's leading art dealer. My role covers research and writing for exhibition texts, publications, and digital content, along with content strategy.

At Webb's, I was the senior writer, researcher, and editor. I developed content for fine art catalogues, pitch documents, advertising campaigns, and promotional material. During my tenure, Webb's successfully pitched for and auctioned the highly prestigious Bank of New Zealand Art Collection. This was the most valuable single owner art collection ever to be sold at auction in New Zealand. I was central to creating the successful pitch, every stage of production of the premium 375 page catalogue, and the extensive nationwide marketing campaign.

I completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree through Elam School of Fine Arts at the University of Auckland. This was research and practice based, examining the points of friction between contemporary painting and digital technology. Specifically, I engaged with digital technology as a transformative agent within painting production and dissemination, studied emergent paradigms of painting theory, and produced a textually innovative thesis, which combined elements of fiction, ficto-criticism, and more conventional modes of academic writing.

I completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Auckland. This specialised in painting and textual innovation, exploring the use of speculative fiction as a form of painting theory. Innovation with digital fabrication technologies was a central part of this research. I was awarded the degree with First Class Honours.
