Contracted Corporate/Organizational Services:Systemic Innovations, LLC specializes in corporate consulting services based on a systems approach of the highest industry standard of practice. Consulting services focus on creating a corporate culture that effectively and efficiently, drives flexible, yet sustainable performance in all areas of the organization. Doing so requires a comprehensive review of performance management elements, licensing and accreditation requirements/standards, service development/delivery review, implementation evaluation, and outcome studies. Recommendations are organization specific and based on comprehensive data gathered, analyzed, and tested.

Oversaw all aspects of the Human Resource/Staff Training and Development Division for the Center,an organization of approximately 700 employees (600 full time employees, 100 part time employees and interns). I led recruitment and retention efforts, as well as staff training, development, electronic software implementation, evidence- based practice implementation and tracking, performance management, and special program/project oversight. I led strategic clinical and operational leadership efforts to include all assigned divisions. I was also responsible for oversight of the design, development and implementation of programs and special services, governmental advocacy, strategy design and needs assessment, implementation, budgeting, profit and loss oversight, written/verbal communication within the organization, written/verbal communication with key external stakeholders, and day to day clinical/organizational operations as assigned. As VP of HR and Special Programs I was responsible for managing the cohesive quality and timely performance of staff, while fostering a workplace environment consistent with the values and mission of the organization. Additionally, assigned oversight of disciplinary action, unemployment, FMLA, healthcare reform, budgeting, process improvement, systems change, electronic application implementation, electronic training software implementation training, and other personnel related functions.

Facilitated college-level courses in the field of psychology, women’s studies, human services, and criminal justice. Areas of instruction psychology, women's studies, diversity, physiological psychology, motivation, cognition, perception, integrated wellness, addiction, mental health, criminal justice, forensics, and human behavior. Responsible for preparing and delivering lectures and leading classroom discussions. Administer and grade examinations or delegate the task to others. Conducted research and case studies in field of interest and strive to publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.

Spearheaded overall strategic clinical and operational leadership to include all assigned divisions. Actively oversaw the design, development and implementation of clinical programs and services for ages (2years to elder care), including strategy design and needs assessment, implementation, budgeting, profit and loss oversight, written/verbal communication within the organization, written/verbal communication with key external stakeholders, and day to day clinical/agency operations.

Led the agency in the development of children’s and adult services for individuals dealing with complex co-occurring problems to include: medical, mental health, substance use disorders, developmental delay, and others. Increased the company budget in this division from 3 million to 9.8 million through innovative program design, implementation and oversight. Budget increases were based on contract negotiations, governmental advocacy efforts, RFP awards for new programs and enhancement of the existing continuum of care. Enhancement of services led to enhanced revenue coupled with loss reduction and systems efficiency. Member of the executive team that redesigned the infrastructure of the agency to respond to managed care and the impact capitation was projected to have and ultimately had on the organization. Led the company in the redesign and implementation of services for severe and persistent mentally ill clients based on the Recovery Model at all stages of the lifespan. In addition, led the redesign of the co-occurring services within a therapeutic community setting for men and women with chronic mental health and substance abuse challenges. In less than 6 months the utilization of deep-end services by high use consumers has been reduced from 75% to 30% showing an overall reduction in return to high end services. Developed a business plan to include revenue generation and program development that will expand agency residential services while enhancing the integrity of the clinical continuum to serve consumers at various levels of need, resulting in agency efficiency and ongoing development.
