The Choir with No Name builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation. We have six choirs around the country (London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff and Coventry) and two more in the pipeline.

Working with a number of charities including * St John Ambulance* CPRE Peak District and South Yorkshire* Live Arts Development Agency* Transnational Institute* Most Mira* Scripture Union. Taking on projects small and large including training, fundraising product development, strategy development, staff recruitment, interim management and CRM development.

Responsible for £750,000 income through individual giving, legacy and community fundraising. Overseen a 71% increase in Community Fundraising income in 2017 compared to 2016.

A thoroughly enjoyable placement at a wonderful charity supporting young people aged 16-25 who find themselves homeless for whatever reason. Depaul run Nightstop across the UK, providing emergency accommodation one night at a time, as well as longer term support for young people getting back to independence. My role is to recruit a new Community Fundraiser, inspiring churches and schools to support the work of Depaul as well as line-managing on an interim basis the work of the Community Fundraiser established in the north east. We are developing a new strategy and are looking for the right people to take an exciting role in that. Achieved the highest income for Community Fundraising in five years.

Developing the case for support, training trustees and mentoring the incoming friends coordinator.

NOFA was set up in the belief that no young person aged 11-18 should be excluded from the extraordinary artistic experience and non-musical benefits of making music in a large ensemble with other committed young musicians. NOFA is accessible and supportive of all, regardless of musical ability, ability to pay, specific need or disability. NOFA champions commitment and dedication to the demanding task of learning an instrument, particularly in challenging circumstances. It is non-auditioned and non-selective while setting very high artistic expectations and working with world-class musicians. NOFA has a very big vision: music without boundaries.Working in partnership with Marianna Hay, Artistic Director and Founder, I was responsible for organisational strategy, fundraising, marketing, business development and evidence and impact.

I have over 18 years experience of tutoring, and have taught pupils one-to-one aged from six years to 66 years. My teaching experience includes primary maths, 11+ preparation, KS3, GCSE, A-level and IB maths, piano, flute and recorder (beginners and upwards).

Project managing the organisation's national appeal. This has involved significant activity developing the case for support, managing the campaign’s major donor cultivation pipeline, liaising with Product Development and Evidence and Impact to ensure we can articulate and inspire supporters to make significant donations towards the goal of doubling the number of young people The Children's Society works with. During this time I was also invited to be part of the Senior Leadership Forum and played an active role on the Strategy Group.

Leading a team of nine, we managed a portfolio of fundraising products such as Christingle (£1.2m), House Boxes (£1.7m) and Organise Your Own (£1m) as well as volunteer programmes for speakers, Box Coordinators and key supporters.With a focus on project management, I coordinated the introduction of audience based planning. I developed a new income coding structure and designed our income monitoring reports. For six months I was seconded two days a week to the change management team project managing the work assessing our community partnerships.

During my time at The National Autistic Society I managed the product development and marketing of two community fundraising campaigns, managed relationships with related corporate sponsors and introduced a Community Fundraising case management system for our Fundraising managers. Latterly I also managed a team of 2, plus a number of volunteers and interns.

As first point of call for volunteers, I managed the phones, processed volunteer applications, took up references and dealt with enquiries. I managed the office and liaised with head office as well as planning events and supporting the North West Volunteer Manager.

Looking after patrons of the hall at concerts, conferences and events. The role included customer service, ticketing, health and safety, artist hospitality, corporate hospitality and logistics. Given specific responsibility for back of house work with celebrities and artists. This role instilled a strong desire for excellent customer service.
