Currently, I work as a senior content lead at Triducive Ltd., undertaking consensus research in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. This work is designed to lead to publication and provide a basis for actionable change, improving healthcare pathways and patient outcomes. I have experience teaching and lecturing in anatomy, clinical skills, and forensic anthropology. I also have experience writing scientific reports and presentations for a variety of audiences. I have undertaken presentations to the public, as well as to academic audiences, alongside my research. My PhD research investigated the methods used to identify and record manifestations of degenerative joint diseases in the spine. This combined clinical anatomical and archaeological approaches. In the process of my research I utilised quantitative and qualitative data to investigate how practitioners diagnose spinal joint disease. This research is important as a first step towards developing more standardised methods for identifying these diseases in archaeology. My previous research was focused on cranial trauma analysis in human skeletal remains and the effect of antipsychotic medication on the skeletal system. This means I have an understanding of clinical literature pertaining to trauma and pharmaceuticals.
