I am a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Computational Physics, University of Stuttgart , Germany since November, 2022. Prior to that I did my Phd at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal under Dr. Sunil P. Singh in the area of Soft Condensed matter and polymer physics , Computational. My PhD research primarily centered around " The structural and dynamical study of neutral/charged polymeric systems under the confluence of both equilibrium (electrostatic , hydrodynamic interactions) and strong non-equilibrium forces (tensile force, electric field, sedimenting field), using extensive coarse grained simulation techniques, with an intent to make important constructive and conceptual advancement along the frontiers of DNA electrophoresis, dielectrophoresis and other forced manipulations of bio-macromolecules etc." From the course of my work, I come well equipped with the computational coarse-grained modelling of soft matter systems. This involves advanced Molecular dynamics (MD), mesoscopic simulation techniques like MPCD-SRD to model long range hydrodynamic interactions, electrostatic solvers like EWALD etc. Along with computational proficiency, I have gained expertise in interpreting the physical underpinnings behind complex interacting soft matter systems, from a statistical, and thermodynamic standpoint. Knowing the efficacy of simulation studies in dealing with soft matter systems involving complex composition and interactions, and having gained a fairly broad exposition to the simulation techniques and understanding of these systems with incumbent long range hydrodynamic, electrostatic and other interactive forces, I intend to broaden my research into the area of biomolecules and other complex polymeric systems. In future, I envisage to gain a scholastic experience in integrating the trinity of high-performance computational modelling, theory and experimentation in unraveling the interesting physics behind the structure, self-organisation and rheology of charged macromolecular systems and other interacting soft matter systems.
