About Dr. Keyan Emami

Dr. Keyan Emami is a Juno-nominated composer of contemporary classical music. Keyan’s music is known for its contemporary tonal language and innovative sonic texture, frequently inspired by Persian music and art heritage. His works have been commissioned, performed, and recorded all over the world by many different organizations, festivals, and orchestras. Keyan completed his doctorate in music at the University of Toronto in 2020. His major studies have been with Christos Hatzis and Alexander Rapoport.
