    Embedded Interaction Lab (EILab) is an applied research lab working in HCI, with special focus on technology for social innovation. The lab has expertise in novel and natural interaction methods - mainly gestural interfaces and tangible interfaces. Since last year, lab has put increased efforts in 2 major directions (a) developing novel interaction techniques for flexible and deformable devices and (b) ICT4D through advances of HCI - immersive virtual reality and multimodal interfacesOur ongoing industry and government collaborations are with Invent with Nokia, P&G Research, Microsoft Research, Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) and Government of Assam respectively. Academic collaborations with University of Calabria (Italy) and University of Tampere (Finland).
