Serving as Deputy Animal Husbandry Commissioner in the Livestock Wing of Federal Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad. Having a demonstrated history of working in the field of animal husbandry & veterinary sciences. Engaged with policy formulation at national level for sectoral development of livestock. Skilled in livestock extension services, livestock management, good husbandry practices, veterinary medicine, animal welfare, animal nutrition, dairy and meat development. Strong administrative professional having degrees of DVM, M.Sc (Hons) in Livestock Management. Graduated and Post Graduated from the Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam having track record of throughout first class and holder of merit scholarships during all years of D.V.M. He entered to learn in Sindh Agriculture University and left the institution to serve. After graduation from aforementioned institution, he started the career by joining Animal Health Division of Ciba-Geigy, a well known research based multinational conglomerate. Having good experience of marketing/ selling of quality veterinary pharmaceuticals. In the same organization he availed training courses titled "Total Quality Management" and "Selling Skills Training Course". After this, he qualified Sindh Public Service Commission and selected as a Veterinary Officer (BS-17) in the Livestock and Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh and served there for around eleven years. After this, he qualified Federal Public Service Commission and selected as Assistant Animal Husbandry Commissioner (BS-18) in the then federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Islamabad. Currently, he is rendering services in the capacity of Deputy Animal Husbandry Commissioner in the federal government in Islamabad. During service in the federal government, he visited several countries of different regions to avail international workshops, seminars and training courses related to the development of livestock sector and emerging and remerging global threats being faced by livestock, humans and environment.
