Solicitor
CurrentAs of 2021, there were over 40 million cases pending in the Indian court system, including the Supreme Court, high courts, and lower courts. A shortage of judges, complex legal procedures and a system that’s rigged with corruption leads to delayed justice. According to official data from 2021, it takes an average of 17 years for a case to be resolved in the Indian court system, from the filing of a complaint to the final disposition of the case. And justice delayed, is justice denied. While the shortage of judges and complex legal jargon is to be partially blamed, there is another facet causing this issue. And that being the lack of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanism in India. According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Law and Justice in India, only 4% of the disputes in India are resolved through ADR mechanisms. The lack of ADR mechanisms combined with nil awareness about ADR increasingly burdens our courts.I constantly encountered certain challenges, prompting my transition to a solicitor. This shift enhanced my authority to endorse ADR mechanisms, enabling my clients to enjoy expedited dispute resolutions, reduced expenses, and heightened satisfaction.I have adeptly managed over 500 disputes spanning areas like real estate, corporate fraud, and banking fraud.
