In this new role and amongst other projects, I am still assisting and helping all SFMA members as well as non-members in Singapore's food industry to explore, source, evaluate, and venture overseas. One-to-one consultation in person or online are available to anyone and everyone who are keen to discuss and talk about their internationalisation plans and endeavours.As shared in my last post, I was deeply honoured and proud to be nominated by SFMA to project lead some of the activities and events that Enterprise Singapore has appointed SFMA to undertake and execute during the biennial food & hospitality show in Singapore i.e., Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) 2023.In addition, I am also involved with the Singapore Innovation Centre's pilot project in the Infocomm Media Development Authority / Enterprise Singapore Grow Digital Programme where we are leading a group of Singapore food companies to onboard the world's fourth largest e-Commerce platform namely COUPANG, Korea.In my other capacity as the Business Development Advisor and Trade Consultant Specialist with Biz Africa Pte Ltd, I am working on the Africa Singapore Hawker Food Culture Centre and the Asia Product Centre in Casablanca, Morocco.Lastly, I am also advising food companies who are keen and interested to apply for Halal certification locally and regionally together with my working partner United World Halal Development Pte Ltd (UNWHD) which is the owner and proprietor of the World Halal Day and the World Islamic Trade Festival trademark.
