Institutional Economist - Entrepreneur – Tech enthusiastI am a high-tech entrepreneur, founder and investor from Germany. I have been developing and managing innovative sensor and electronics companies since 2006.As CEO, I am always involved in my projects and companies in person. My actions are therefore credible, long-term oriented and performance-based. I am grateful to work with many ambitious, interesting and diverse people.We operate in teams that include our own employees as well as players from institutes, universities and companies. Together, we develop disruptive sensor and electronics technologies that solve global challenges.To industrialize novel technologies is the passion of my management team. Our sensor, electronics and software solutions have the potential to improve, for example, the automation of manufacturing processes or mobility, safety and the quality of people's lives and the environment.I see myself not only as an innovative entrepreneur. As vice president of the East Thuringia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and as a board member of the Thuringia Sensor Network, I share my experience in the international management of a tech company and contribute my view of global economic relationships and German research and industrial policy to these networks.In 2021 I was awarded with the Ernst Abbe Prize for innovative Entrepreneurship. This prize honors entrepreneurial personalities for their special services to Thuringia as a science and technology location. I am incredibly proud of this unique award and at the same time humbled by the legacy of Ernst Abbe, a world-historically significant entrepreneur, scientist and social reformer.
