Being part of Global health initiative programme from 2009 by NIH-NHLBI; USA initiated 11 centers as Center of excellence worldwide including India for chronic NCD prevention. For conduction of advanced evidence based research, attended two week course in health research methodology among selected 24 research investigator in India and later trained to setup non communicable disease and prevention unit (NPTU) collaboration with different health care system at nationwide as primary and secondary preventive strategies for cardiometabolic disease.
