CurrentIn my present job, I provide strategic leadership and direction for effective implementation of special education services plans. I perform responsibilities of superintendent during their unavailability to ensure smooth operation of district. I lead recruitment, supervision, and evaluation of district special education and pupil personnel employees to meet set organizational objectives. Offer guidance in creation and evaluation of district programs catering to students aged 3-22. I spearhead identification, piloting, and implementation of social-emotional learning programming.Some of my proudest achievements in my present job include: Guaranteed delivery of high-quality programs at all levels by collaborating with senior and building leadership teams. Promoted informed decision-making by conducting in-depth analysis and synthesis of district-level, school-level, and student achievement data. Regularly delivered presentations to the Board of Education on various topics, including new legislation related to special education and formulation of new programs. Maximized employees' skills by coordinating and facilitating professional development activities for district staff. Served as integral member of key district committees, including the professional development and evaluation committee and district data team. Secured additional resources for district by writing federal and local grant applications. Initiated new programs within district and revamped Social-Emotional programming to enhance overall effectiveness.
