The Dean of Teaching and Learning leads the curriculum team in the leadership of the learning and teaching across the St Laurence's College community. Embedded within the Edmund Rice charism of Catholic Boys education, this role uses data to improve outcomes, liaises with key stakeholders such as the QCAA, and works closely with the pastoral team to ensure that the teaching and learning at the College meets students needs and empowers them to achieve their aspirations of excellence. The ultimate aim is to graduate 'Laurie's Gentlemen' of faith, who are willing to serve others.

The Head of Senior School is a member of the college leadership team and is a combination of pastoral and academic paradigms in order to educate the whole person. The role itself involves the use of educational data to inform practice and to mentor senior students in order to help them achieve their full potential. Key to this is the merging of the curriculum and pastoral teams within the senior school, along with the spiritual, emotional and academic development of the young men at the college.

Lead and manage the Industrial Technology and Design (ITAD) Department including curriculum development (both academic and vocational pathways); resource management (over ten workshops with various machinery and tools along with five Graphics rooms); and workforce planning (faculty development for over thirteen staff).I initiated and currently direct the annual immersion to Palm Island. This is where teachers take 7-9 year 10 students on a trip to Palm Island where they immerse themselves with the Bwgcolman Community School students. Our boys make design projects with the students and then experience Island life and culture. This is practical reconciliation in its simplest form.
