I earned my Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and have a Superintendent license. My thesis, “The Importance and Impact of Cultural Diversity in Schools,” is exactly the message the school system needs to hear. My unwavering goal is to reach each student where they are and to maximize each child’s potential. I have co-taught inclusion and ESL classes the last eight years and co-chaired my school’s Cultural Diversity Initiative, training staff on diversity awareness and culturally responsive teaching practices. I came to my current school after having spent seven years at a bilingual magnet school. There, I spearheaded the establishment of a sister school relationship in Costa Rica. My long and deep commitment to inclusion of all types affords me an opportunity to be an advocate for all students at the school administration level.
