Currently Working as District Epidemiologist at District Surveillance Unit Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) , Nalanda under National Centre for Disease Control (DGHS, MoHFW, GoI) since 15-04-2010 .Before it I was posted in Saharsa District under same capacity from 05/08/2010 to 14/04/2010 .IDSP assisted by World Bank which was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare in November 2004. The programme is functioning under MoHFW,GoI and it is intended to be the backbone of public health delivery system in the country.It is a decentralized, State based Surveillance Program in the country. It is intended to detect early warning signals of impending outbreaks and help initiate an effective response in a timely manner.Under this programme we are providing technical assistance to District Health System. I have more than 10 years experience in Development sectors.I have also worked at International Institute for population Sciences ,Mumbai under Administrative control of MoHFW ,GoI from 2005-2009.During these period I have assisted As Senior Research officer/Research Officer in many Research Projects like NFHS-3,DLHS-3, GATS ,Youth Projects . I was handling the technical works related to the project, which includes selection of the households, field monitoring for the maintaining reliable data within timeliness , validation of the data ,given training to Enumerators which was hired by reputed Independent Research Organizations. In addition to thatConsultancy provided to International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai MOHFW, and GOI under project entitled Revalidation of mapping and estimation of High Risk Groups (HRGs) in Chattisgadh and Orrisa.Area Of Interest-
