About Dr. Marcel Gültig

After my studies of mechanical engineering in Karlsruhe I received my doctorate in the field of shape memory alloys and energy harvesting. Together with a school friend and 3 colleagues I founded memetis in 2017 to bring our experience with shape memory alloys and our enthusiasm for them from research to industry. Meanwhile we are a team of more than 11 employees, who are motivated to make shape memory alloys in the fields of microfluidics and miniature actuators a success story. Since 2018 we are already producing shape memory actuators in series (40000 pieces/year).We also offer miniature valves and smart manifolds for use in life-sciences, analytics and other fluidic-systems.
