Mark has over 30 years experience of working at all levels within the Management Consulting Profession and is currently the MD of Consulting Associates Worldwide (CAW), a consultancy set up in 2001 focused on delivering cost management and performance improvement solutions to the UK Financial Sector. All work is obtained via invitation or personal recommendation and is generally obtained via CEOs, CFOs, COOs or non-Executive Directors. CAW predominantly delivers fixed-price cost management solutions that have a high 'intellectual property' content. They have developed a range of models that enable clients to deliver solutions much more quickly than conventional approaches - and despite the accelerated implementation timeframe they also manage to obtain excellent levels of engagement from client staff thus ensuring the success of their assignments.Mark commenced his consulting career with the Lucas Group where he specialised in implementing American & Japanese manufacturing methodologies such as Total Quality and Just in time. He was recruited by Coopers and Lybrand where his core focus was on Zero Based Budgeting and Activity Based Management. At C&L he developed their core approach to ABM and implemented this across a variety of sectors including manufacturing, postal, local and general government and utilities. He was then recruited by KPMG where, as a Director, he went on to lead a number of high profile cost reduction assignments in the UK Financial Sector.Mark's prime focus is in Cost Management, Cost Allocation, ZBB, Productivity Improvement, Profitability Studies (ie Product, Customer and Channel), Activity Based Cost Management, Planning & Budgeting and Programme Management.Mark is often seen as someone who makes predictions ahead of the market thus giving his clients welcome insights to provide them with competitive advantage.
