My mission: the evolution of what know as "healthcare."I believe that the future of healthcare MUST be rooted in prevention, encompass all aspects of a person's wellbeing and address root-cause issues, not just symptoms, leaving pharmaceutical drugs and surgery as last - but sometimes necessary - resorts.I specialize in longevity and women's health, with a special focus on peri/menopause.With a combined 23 years of research, education and experience and a PhD from Cambridge (Molecular Biology, Genetics, & Biochemistry), my passion for precision, practicality and people fuels my drive to help foster a new paradigm in healthcare.This calling was initially born of my own experience trying to navigate a medical system that didn’t help me. Long story short:Following an extremely challenging experience navigating burnout in my mid-30s, I transitioned my 15-year career as a Biomedical Research Scientist into health consulting of a new flavour: one that is patient-centred, deeply personalized, data-driven and compassion-forward. It's centred on lifestyle-based medicine (not pharmaceuticals). I create custom roadmaps to wellness that target every aspect of a person's wellbeing. I guide and support them every step of the way, offering a unique blend of training and coaching that produces excellent results.My deeply personalized approach integrates health and family history with cutting-edge labs, biometrics (wearable data) and personal genetics, and draws insights from both modern science and Ancient Medicine. Going above and beyond simply helping my clients get well, I aim to educate, empower and advocate for every person on their path to better health.In 2020, my passion for helping people access affordable functional healthcare and lifestyle medicine lead me to co-found and become Chief Scientific Officer for WellMe.ai (www.WellMe.ai).
