About Dr Meg Arroll

Hello! I'm a Chartered Coaching Psychologist, scientist, and author (PhD, CPsychol, CSci, AFBPsS, FHEA, MISCPAccred) with a specialist focus on behavioural psychology related to health and wellness, invisible/misunderstood illness, and everyday trauma. I have published widely in peer-reviewed journals including the British Medical Journal (Open) and Medical Hypotheses, in addition to seven mainstream books for the public on topics ranging from chronic fatigue to emotional eating. I have held academic positions at several UK universities and am currently an assessor for the British Psychological Society’s Chartered Route in Coaching Psychology. I work on a 1-2-1 basis with individuals, in corporate settings to improve health and performance and as an advisor to brands and the media. I am also a regular contributor to commercial publications such as The Daily Mail and Psychologies magazine in the UK and Psychology Today in the USA.Currently, I'm busy promoting my most recent book Tiny Traumas around the world, across 33 publication territories including the UK, USA, Europe, South America, Asia, and Australasia.     Megan is a Visiting Research Fellow within the Chronis Illness Research Team, headed by Elizabeth Attree and Emeritus Professor Christine Dancey. The Team studies many different conditions including ME/CFS, IBS, Ménière’s disease, Mal de Débarquement Syndrome (MdDS), Epilepsy and Diabetes.
