Supervision: I have co-supervised 4 honours students within the departments of Psychology and Human Kinetics, 3 undergraduate directed studies projects within the department of Human Kinetics, and 2 masters directed studies projects within the Department of Health and Social Development.Knowledge Translation: To date, I have presented at 33 national and international conferences and published 20 manuscripts, with 5 more currently under review or in preparation. As a knowledge product from my PhD, I am collating existing banks of text messages used in research to develop a repository for researchers and clinicians. I partnered with YMCA at home to script and film a Diabetes Prevention Series (https://www.ymcahome.ca/yhealth).Due to COVID-19, many individuals were left without care. I advocated for, and was successful in, transitioning this diabetes prevention program into a virtual format by collaborating with patients, researchers, and technology developers.
