Western Sydney HealthPathways is based on 'Whole of District' approach and aims to streamline services by providing local information to primary care providers on assessment, management and referral of patients. HealthPathways is also a platform for identifying redesign opportunities and promoting evidence based 'Models of Care'. HealthPathways objectives are in line with those of the CHR that is to improve health outcomes, reduce per capita cost of care and to improve patients and their carers’s journey.

Writing reports, briefs and articles. A report on homelessness was prepared and presented at the Parliament House by the Minister in 2013.Formation and provision of executive support to suicide prevention initiative among inmates. Conduct research by reviewing mortality data and triangulating the data with coronial file review of cases. Informing policy and practice based on research results. Advice Chief Executive on matters related to suicide risk factors and intervention strategies.

Staff management, leadership and vision in regard to contentious clinical issues, such as emergency department admission, bed closures and requirements of some rural hospitals, lead research projects relevant to evidence-based child health and facilitate transfer of knowledge into policy and practice, allocate annual GESCHN funding to the value of $2 million, provide executive assistance to three network committees, facilitate implementation of clinical practice guidelines in collaboration with GESCHN nurses, work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary group of clinicians, administrator, researchers and policy-makers.

Review of policy guidelines surrounding ED presentation of self-poisoning, triangulating data with medical record and introducing innovative approach to change outcomes of health. Forming multidisciplinary teams of professionals to lead the way in suicide prevention. Providing advice to senior management on quality of care, mortality and morbidity data and evidence based health care. Managing Biomechanics Laboratory, comparing impact of exercise on patients with OA by measuring and analysing 'ground reaction forces', using force platform.
