Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Dr. Michel Daher is a dental surgeon, specialized in implantology. After studying in Donesk and specializingin Olsberg, Dr. Daher came back to Beirut to practice medicine, dental surgery and implantology.He currently owns one private clinic and one polyclinic named Santa Maria Polyclinic in Beirut.In 2010 and in parallel of his work, Dr. Daher started organizing the Beirut International Awards Festivals - BIAF. BIAF is a luxurious red carpet awards ceremony during which distinguished individuals from various fields of art, literature, entertainment, science, politics, business, sports, humanitarian and public service are selected to receive an award recognizing their achievements.The goal of the festival is not only to honor these individuals but to also shed light on the work they do, because through their extraordinary talent and passion, these prominent figures from around the world have been able to make a positive and lasting impact on our lives.After the enourmous success BIAF 2017 received from local and regional authorities, Dr. Michel Daher decided to create a new awards ceremony concept specialized in recognizing the achievements of Emiratis and successful personalities which had a great impact in the GCC: The Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards – DIAFA.After the wide success of DIAFA 2020, Dr. Michel Daher aimed at organizing an awards ceremony that specializes in awarding the Arab and International fashion industry, especially the designers and fashion contributors who invested in the United Arab Emirates and expanded their brand within these great Emirates.
