About Dr. Mitchell D. Strauss

Retired Professor Emeritus who spent a life time involved with the Textile and Apparel Industry. Expertise was in manufacturing effectiveness, textile structures, physical analysis of textile materials, fashion photography and co-authored books on Fashion Theory and Ethnic Dress in the U.S. Also wrote extensively on the interaction of dress authenticity and Civil War Reenacting. Founded and designed a Textile Testing Lab with an NSF Grant.Currently a dedicated guitar musician and landscape/nature photographer. I host a monthly Open Mic Night and a weblog focused on my guitar experience.
