I am Ph.D, have a significant background in teaching and training in hospitality and tourism. Dr. Alam examines Islamic tourism and the Islamic hospitality paradigm in Pakistan in his thesis. Among my interests are Islamic tourism, tourism management, and hospitality management. I am a certified guide as well. Previously employed by TUSDEC and the Ministry of Industry at PAITHOM Gulibagh Swat as an instructor, Housemaster and housekeeper, worked as the HoD/Senior Instructor at the Skill Development Centre Battagram. I began working at Hazara University in Pakistan in 2009 as a lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality. Currently, I hold the position of assistant professor. I continued being a member of national, provincial, public, and business tourist organisations in an effort to support the promotion of tourism and hospitality. I have published books and research papers that have been published in reputable publications as the main or collaborative authors.
