The TIH is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). The objectives of the TIH are developing and evaluating technology interfaces across different application domains like Environment, Healthcare, Information Technology, and Defence & Security.My responsibilities include research, contacting nation and international universities (e.g., IIIT D, CMU, etc.,), industries (e.g., TCS, WileyNXT, etc.) and organisations (e.g., DRDO, etc.) for collaborations with the TIH, conducting workshops, buying equipment like HPC, assisting companies like Google in setting up their offices on campus, etc.
