Have assumed the responsibility as the Director of AMC institutions, Bengaluru from 11 Mar 2024.I am 60 years young and located in Bengaluru. I have received education (M.Tech and Ph.D) from IIT Madras, and gained rich administrative experience at MCE, Hassan and BMS group of institutions, Bengaluru. I have been mentored for 6 years by 2 highly effective IAS officers (former Additional Chief Secretaries to GOK). I have a lot of energy and passion to build high-performance educational Institution/University, and commitment to create high value to all stake holders. I have served the higher education sector, specifically professional engineering education, as a teacher, researcher and administrator for over 37 years. I superannuated as the Principal of BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bengaluru after shouldering the responsibility for close to 9 years. Served as an expert member on AICTE expert panel, NAAC Peer review committees and LIC of VTU. Served as a member of several Boards of Governors, Academic councils, Advisory boards and University panels. Received appointment offer from IIM, Indore and TAPMI, Bengaluru. Served as a subject matter expert in the national project NPTEL, and University project EDUSAT.
