Working in optimizing parameters for Upstream processing of Second and third generationBiofuel feed stocks. Validation of incoming data to check information accuracy and integrity while independently locating and correcting concerns. I gather, experiment, arrange and correct research data to create representative graphs and charts highlighting results for presentations and journal publication.I conduct HPLC, DNSA assay and VFA analyses on regular basis, set up equipment, organize inventory and maintain facilities. I have produced actionable information that improved sugar extraction.Microalgae culture in open outdoor raceway ponds. Biomass used for bio-pigment, lipid and carbohydrate extraction leading to production of various industrially relevant end products.

Research topic: Studies on Cyanobacteria Based Nanomaterial Fabricated Bio-anode for Power generation and Azo-dye degradation in a Microbial Biofuel Cell Device.Cyanobacteria are unicellular phototrophic micro-organisms growing across wide environmental landscapes. Among the various positive traits of cyanobacteria for fuel cell applications i.e. photosynthetic microbial fuel cell (PMFC), high solar energy conversion efficiency, flexible growth physiology (autotrophic, heterotrophic and mixotrophic), tolerant to high salt and organic contaminants, and more amenable to genetic engineering than eukaryotic microalgae are prominent .Considering the current demand for an efficient and environmental friendly technology for bioremediation of effluent dye from various industries, my research work aims to develop a solution through PMFC technology using a cyanobacteria Synechococcus sp. BDU140432 as anodic catalysts with simultaneous power generation.
