• Recruit, train and supervise Ophthalmologists, Medical Officers, Nurses, Human Resources, Administration, and other staff.• Manage national field staff in camps, providing ongoing supervision, leadership, technical support, and guidance. Includes ensuring that MCV staff adhere to best-practice principles and use participatory approaches for working with the community.• Design, organize and conduct trainings/Research on Visual Health, prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation, RH issues, etc. for health care providers, security personnel, NGO staff, government officials, community members, and others.• Facilitate assessments (situation analysis and community profiling and Participatory Toolkit) of Vision in the target communities using participatory methods. Collect and compile data from multiple sources, including NGO’s, government, UN agencies, health workers, police, and target community. • Ensure that monitoring and evaluation framework is clearly understood and followed by all staff.• Lead coordination efforts pertaining to MCV programming by developing and maintaining effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders including community leaders, health workers, NGOs, UN agencies, and relevant government ministries, and represent MCV at regular coordination meetings.• Work with the Health Program Coordinator and MCV Community Coordinators to develop and implement strategies to build national staff capacity in all relevant fields.• Facilitate training for staff to enable them to support low vision patients or dealing consultants/staff through counseling and effective case management, including identification of needs and referrals for health care, training, etc. as needed.• Assist in further development of strategies and responses of MCV to meet existing and emerging needs in the GBV sector.• Participate in the development of strategic plans, concept papers, proposals, budgets.Prepare and submit monthly ,periodic , annual donor reports.
