I have been teaching a variety of courses at Red Deer College since 2014. I have also been working as an Academic Expert and Marker for various economics courses at Athabasca University since 2015. Before joining Red Deer College and Athabasca University, I taught at Northeastern University, Boston, Yasar University, Izmir, Turkey, and IBA, Karachi Pakistan. Over the past seven years, I have been teaching the following courses: “Introduction to Business Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomic Theory, Money and Banking, Development Economic, International Trade, Personal Finance, Introduction to Management, and Personal Selling. My research interests include corruption and convergence theory and trade policy analysis. My research articles have been published in British Food Journal (Emerald), Quality and Quantity (Springer), Journal of Economic Policy Reform (Taylor and Francis), Asian Profile, Economics Bulletin, International Journal of Economic Perspectives, Bangladesh Development Studies, Pakistan Development Review, SBP Research Bulletin and Pakistan Economic and Social Review. I hold an M.Sc. from University of Karachi, an M.Phil from Quaid-i-Azam University, and a Ph.D. from Northeastern University, Boston, USA. I have also received advanced training in trade policy analysis from World Trade Institute, University of Berne, Switzerland.
