We are a psychologist-led group practice that offers both psychological treatment and counseling services for adults with a wide range of presenting concerns.Typical problems we address range from difficulty adjusting to life challenges – such as divorce, work-related stress, serious illness, or significant loss – to a full range of psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety and panic, chronic worry, OCD, and phobias.Collectively, we offer decades of experience as clinicians, researchers, and educators in hospitals and the community, in medical and mental health settings across North America. Our approach to treatment is evidence-based. In other words, our work is guided by the most current research, and we use therapy techniques that have been shown to be the most effective in treating the specific presenting problem.Cognitive Therapy, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is a class of interventions that focus on learning new patterns of thinking and behaving to alleviate symptoms and solve problems. CBT is a time-limited, goal-oriented therapy that relies on active collaboration between the therapist and the client. Of all psychotherapeutic approaches, CBT has the most evidence from well-controlled research showing that it works for specified disorders.

As a member of the Psychosocial Oncology team at Trillium Health partners, my work encompasses program development, clinical, research, and educator roles. This includes supervision of psychology doctoral students, and tutoring of medical students at the University of Toronto's Mississauga Academy of Medicine.
