• Produced scripts to automate ingestion of prospect data, extracting valuable metrics for over 30 prospects in minutes instead of days.• Developed prospect portfolio analysis tool for technical QC of all prospect volume and risk data and to support business decision making, saving over 20% of total project time and budget.• Coded dashboards for palaeobiological datasets, allowing quick and efficient interrogation of data in a fraction of the time. • Created on-request Python scripts for a technical team of over sixty geoscientists, saving hours of manual work, including extraction of database data using SQL, cutting data compilation time by more than half.

• Integrated different data types over an area of 16,000 km2, including seismic, well, outcrop, and core to create GIS reservoir quality maps for a government license round.• Identified over a dozen prospects and leads for a Middle Eastern government using 2D and 3D seismic data, well analyses, analogues, and historical reports.• Correlated well and seismic data with regional analogues to identify a potential new hydrocarbon play and associated leads using detailed attribute analyses of 3D seismic in the North Sea. • Compiled and integrated thousands of points of data alongside 1D basin models to produce play maps and reports for New Zealand, Australia, the Antarctic, and the Philippines.

• Integrated over 100,000 km2 of seismic data with wells and onshore analogues to develop regional depositional models for the north Taranaki Basin.• Recorded data from new rock outcrops as analogues in support of government license rounds.

• Spent more than three months in Russia compiling proprietary data on over one hundred wells and thousands of lines of seismic.• Integrated contemporary and historical data covering an area of 1,000,000 km2 to create geological models of East Siberia using seismic, well logs, and petrographic studies.

• Headed study extracting data from well, seismic, academic and industry reports to create hundreds of data points for regional projects for reservoir prospectivity analyses in SE Asia and the Caribbean. • Led the interpretation of seismic and well data for carbonate prospectivity in a 1671 km2 license offshore New Zealand. Produced depositional models and identified ten leads. • Analysed dozens of wells and hundreds of square kms of seismic to interpret depositional facies and reservoir character on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and Indonesia.

• My PhD research focused on developing a sequence stratigraphic model of a cool-water carbonate mid-Cenozoic basin in South Island, New Zealand, using dozens of outcrops and over 200 thin section analyses. • Focuses included the link between sea-level change and authigenic production and its affect on the carbonate factory, as well as the influence of palaeogeography on the model and its relationship to submergence of Zealandia during the Oligocene.

• Tested the company's Leapfrog software from a geological viewpoint for user friendliness, as well as locating bugs. • Created test models and identified improvements which help the developers create a more intuitive UI.

• Geotechnical core-logging in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, describing whole rock core for more than 10 boreholes as part of pit wall angle efficiency program which saved millions in development costs.• Developed basic groundwater models and integrated them into GIS systems to enhance mine drainage planning.
