I have worked on chemical pesticides, their forms and classifications. It's exposure pathways, the adverse impact on human health and the ambient environment and preventive measures.Mystudy investigates the occurrence and distribution of the organochlorines as well as the emergingpyrethroids and neonicotinoids in human milk and water in West Bengal, India. I have also investigated the pesticide concentrations in the surface water and groundwater of the semi-urban region and assess risk to the non-target aquatic organisms. My research study describes a single extraction procedure for the simultaneous analysis of organochlorines, neonicotinoids and pyrethroids in human milk.
