I have worked in acute care for much of my nursing career, in various capacities, from ICU, emergency, project coordination, education, and management. My passion of late is the charitable organization I chair, Sterile Processing Education Charitable Trust (SPECT). We work in low and middle income countries, providing education and training in how to effectively process surgical instruments to make them safe for use.
