I hold a Doctorate in Electronics & Electrical Engineering developing Flexible Sensory Electronic Circuits for Electronic Textile (e-textile) & Industrial Wearable Applications. My background is Electronic Engineering with Artificial Intelligence, but have since gained experience in Wearables Engineering, Product Management, & Systems Development through industry experience. Since my PhD graduation, I have gained an Data Science Foundations Specialism from IBM, furthering my experience in SQL, Machine Learning, & Data Visualisation. I have also gained Specialisations in Digital Product Management & Agile Development from University of Virginia Darden School of Business. I am listed in the Engineering Award Cohort for Electronics Weekly's (EW) BrightSparks 2020, in affiliation with RS Components.I hold expert knowledge on developing & applying e-textiles & wearable technology to diverse industries - that can be applied to smart homes, smart vehicles, finance, fashion, healthcare & more. I have advised on IoT systems, 3D printing, and bendable electronics applied to Wearable Technology for example. I am working to be a leading technical figure in commercialising innovative technologies globally - such e-textiles and wearables - with ability to advise world leaders, businesses, & policymakers on emerging technologies.My Ph.D involved flexible circuit development for embedding into textiles, data analysis, simulation, & HCI. I worked in a multi-cultural environment & presented my research internationally (such as the University of Cambridge and Uppsala) to academia, commercial and technical stakeholders. I used state-of-the-art machinery to design & fabricate these circuits which I made textile-compatible & washable. My publications are in top-tier journals from IEEE, book chapters, & conference papers. I also have award-winning media experience through writing, presenting, & radio.
