I am a licensed Medical Doctor with over six years of experience working with non-profit organizations in executing medical interventions aimed at increasing access to healthcare and health education in underserved communities of Nigeria through community-based outreaches and sensitization programs.Currently, I am a medical doctor at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital,at the adult accident and emergency, where am involved in diagnosing, resuscitating, stabilizing, and managing patients. -Serves as the first point of contact with all emergency cases rushed into the hospital.-Requests medical tests to formulate a treatment plan and coordinates all research activities ranging from:data collection, data cleaning,data analysis, results interpretation and manuscript writing.Was a medical corps doctor at Gwandu General Hospital, Gwandu Kebbi State, Nigeria from March 2020 to February 2021, where I -Served as the Chief Medical doctor at the NYSC orientation camp clinic in Dakingari, Kebbi state.-Led the NYSC COVID-19 response team in Kebbi State, Nigeria, to stem COVID-19 in the state.-Conducted clinical interviews/consultations with clients to obtain a comprehensive medical history.-Performed comprehensive physical examinations to assess patients’ medical conditions.-Made appropriate use of diagnostic studies and tests; developed, implemented, and evaluated treatment plans and integrated information to establish differential diagnoses.- Tracked patient management and monitored clients to ensure compliance.-performed major and minor surgeries which includes:herniorrhaphy,herniotomy,hydrocelectomy ,culporrhaphy,appendectomy,caesarean section ,hysterectomy ,circumcision ,MVA,hemoriodectomy ,cervical cerclage myomectomy ,exploratory laparotomy etcAlso Proficient in medical ultrasonography.Had my medical internship at the Obafemi Awolowo University hospital complex , Ile Ife, Osun state From February 2019 to February 2020.where I was Medical House Officer-Was first contact in patient management and reviews patient accordingly with senior colleagues along with patients resuscitation.-Attended to patients in Outpatient clinic and antenatal clinic.-prepared patients for surgeries ,assisted major surgeries and did minor procedures.-Worked in obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery ,orthopedics and traumatology ,ophthalmology ,pediatric and neonatology unit as well as internal medicine.-Made academic presentation during departmental clinical meeting and morning review.
