Many things - Visited two Aditya Birla Group factories and attended a course at the Aditya Birla Corporate Management Training centre ("Gyanodaya") to imbibe the basic ethos of the Aditya Birla Group.Set up a full-fledged modern medical library. Set in place an "Induction Training Program"; instituted training programs for junior doctors after at-length consultation with senior consultants to improve ward-level IPD patient care; same for nurses; arranged external visiting faculty to impart workshops on various topics in healthcare and personal development.A full write-up on rehashing of the human resource management was handed over to the management.Spearheaded a full-fledged exercise in 5-S housekeeping was under able guidance of visiting consultants.Put into motion the exercise of SOP writing at department level with the stress being on ownership of functions. Followed this up with detailed work up under able external consultants and internal colleagues of the quality assurance department. The hospital is now ISO 9001 certified and accredited with NABH and JCI. The laboratory is NABL accredited.Attended a workshop on the IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award (based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, US).Advising the CEO and Board of Trustees on training and development was part of the responsibility.
