Executive Performance Benchmarks-Effectively led the growth of RIKON (www.rikon.ie) from three founders in 2008 to a team of over thirty, have worked with over 1000 SMEs, and successfully secured over €8m in research funding. -Managed the growth of RIKON from a tourism dominated research group to Ireland's largest Service Innovation Group that is connected to innovation centres across Europe-Recognised by peers for strength and ability to anticipate future research trends such as rebranding RIKON as a Service Innovation Centre in 2009, two years prior to Service Innovation becoming a National Research Prioritisation.-Facilitated and involved in the generation of €8 million in research funding in RIKON and principle responsible for securing over €4 million.-Spearheaded the integration and inclusion of an additional 20 academic researchers within the School of Business in to the RIKON research group. Established the Graduate Business Society.-Highly proficient in strategy development, problem solving, strategy implementation, stakeholder engagement and project management.-Seasoned networker and consensus builder with highly developed listening, interpersonal, oral and written skills; effective communicator with senior executives, team members, and Institute clients. Noteworthy is 5 best paper awards received at conferences in 2014, 2012, 2011(x2) and 2010. Awarded Emerald Global Literati Prize for Excellence in 2013. Published professional 4 white papers and 40 business presentations-Chairperson of the WIT Research Staff Forum which was established in conjunction with the Human Resource Strategy for Researchers and WIT’s HRS4Rs Action Plan, the WIT RSF aims to enhance the employment conditions of research staff.-A skilled design thinker that combines patience, determination, persistence, strong problem-solving and analytical skills to evaluate situations and generate solutions that achieve the optimal outcome for all parties. -Currently supervising 1 Postdoctoral Student; 5 Doctoral students and 1 Masters: 2 of these PhDs will complete in 2015.
