My name is Patrick Meisner, born in 1981, married and live in Bonn (Germany).Already as a young man, I was interested in trend-setting technologies.During my studies of mineralogy and phd graduation in chemistry, I have discovered remarkable know-how in material science and their related technologies. Especially in coatings, I developed a special passion and expertise. At the Fraunhofer Institute for semiconductor materials (THM), I was able to deepen my knowledge and at the same time strengthen my organization skills by industrial projects.As a technical marketing manager, I am currently in charge of SGL Carbon`s SiC coated graphite product business for EMEA Territory. In here, I love developing graphite product specialties, while creating smart solutions for customers applications with focus on compound semiconductors, LED and crystal growth processes.My mission is to support customer`s engagement and to drive their technical sales part by a solid and depth understanding of their requirements. In a close cooperation with company`s technical team I develop most relevant solutions. On SGL site, I am acting in internal processes which connect product marketing, customer service and supply chain management. By a vision to improve industrial processes and technologies, I want to transfer ideas into functional and applicable devices. By this, I want to contribute in a sustainable and better future.In private life, I like working on photographies and videos. I am very open and interested in new views, minds and opinions. For this, I also love travelling and seeing other cultures and get in touch with new people.
